Terms of Service

Last updated 22 July 2026

The service

HandsOnTop is an AI-assisted planning tool for Australian primary school teachers. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, contact handsontop@agentmail.to.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Accounts are for individual teachers; please don't share credentials.

Credits, payments and refunds

Generations use credits. Free monthly credits and purchased credits are described on the pricing page; payments are processed by Stripe. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If something you paid for doesn't work as it should, contact us and we will make it right — including a refund or replacement credits where the law requires or where that's the fair outcome.

Your content and uploads

You keep ownership of everything you type into or upload to HandsOnTop. When you upload a document (such as a school lesson-plan template), you confirm you have the right to use it with this service. Uploaded templates are processed in memory and are not stored on our servers.

Do not include student names or other personal details in text you enter or documents you upload. Content you submit is processed by third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI-generated content

HandsOnTop's output is generated by AI and provided as a starting point for your own planning. It may contain errors or content that isn't right for your class. You are responsible for reviewing and adapting generated material using your professional judgment before classroom use.

Curriculum content

Syllabus outcomes and content descriptions shown in the app are from NSW syllabuses © NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) for and on behalf of the Crown in right of the State of New South Wales. HandsOnTop is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with NESA or the NSW Department of Education. AI-generated planning material is not part of the NESA materials and is in no way endorsed or authorised by NESA.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service — including attempting to access other users' data, reselling or bulk-extracting the app's content, or using the service to generate unlawful or harmful material.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date above shows the latest change. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
